About Us
Harris County Department of Education
-
The Harris County Department of Education is a public entity dedicated to helping meet the needs of uniquely challenged learners and school staff in the state’s largest county through innovative programming and support services. HCDE directly serves approximately 30,000 students with four alternative campuses, therapy services provided in local schools, 21 Head Start centers for early childhood education, after-school programming in dozens of community and school settings, and the oldest adult education program in Texas.
HCDE also supports educators and school staff with professional development opportunities in diverse instructional areas ranging from core content to special populations and educational technology, as well as offers programs supporting school safety and alternative certification. The department provides valuable operational support to districts and public agencies in Harris County in the form of an advanced records management system, facilities planning, and purchasing power through the Choice Partners program.

4 Ever Clever Learning, LLC is a supplemental learning center that provides personalized instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, study skills, homework support, and test preparation for college entrance and state exams. Our programs are infused with unparalleled service and support, ensuring a successful program from the initial meeting to learning about a student’s needs to completing a personalized learning experience.
The premise behind our approach is simple: one of the most dynamic ways to provide superior services to enhance learning is to tailor every program specific to the needs of every learner. For this reason, students in our centers experience 3x more growth in math and reading than their peers. As a locally owned and operated tutoring provider, we have the unique advantage of understanding local expectations and nuanced student needs. 4 Ever Clever Learning, LLC employs certified, highly qualified teachers, which gives us insight into the differing needs of students that other tutoring providers do not have.
