CASE for Kids continues to collect and share numerous resources for you and your students to make the best use of time at home during COVID-19.
We’re sharing these resources through our Afterschool Zone. These education resources give you access to three core competencies: social-emotional learning (SEL), numeracy, and literacy.
We know you face unprecedented times as we stay at home during COVID-19. By working together to provide support, we strive to build a stronger after-school network.
Highlights of our do-at-home student activities:
- Cooking demonstrations
- Read-aloud story times
- Virtual tours of museums around the nation.
Educator resources:
- Scheduled trainings which shift to virtual experiences through our CASE Training Calendar
- Lists of local organizations that provide personal assistance to support Harris County residents
- In addition, access our the HCDE Educator Resources page for additional activities for students of all ages and a variety of subject areas
Because your self-care is of utmost concern, practicing positive mindfulness is important. We share self-care resources such as activities to do every day, as well as research. Our goal is to help you center your mind so you may bring your best to your students and maintain your own mental wellness.
Follow CASE for Kids on social media as we post new ideas daily! Thanks for all you do to make afterschool cool. You’re the best, so take care!
