Partnership Project RFP 2024–2025
The Partnership Project aims to provide supplemental funding for afterschool programs to promote social and emotional learning skills and increased support of numeracy and literacy development for economically disadvantaged students between ages 4-12 or up to age 19 with a documented disability.

CASE for Kids City Connections is an initiative funded directly by the City of Houston to support nonprofit organizations that address the need for youth services outside the school day.

County Connections 2024 (CLOSED)
County Connections Youth Summer Initiative 2024, funded directly by Harris County, supports nonprofit organizations that address the need for youth services during the summer. Initiatives funded by the CASE for Kids County Connections program provide comprehensive summer programs, short-term projects and summer camps hosted in-person or virtually from a variety of locations, including schools, community centers, apartment complexes and churches.Organizations that are currently HCDE-approved vendors and who have 501(c)3 status will have an invitation on IonWave. This application window closes Monday, February 12, at 6 pm. -

Funding for the County Connections Project is provided by Harris County and administered by the Center for Afterschool, Summer and Enrichment for Kids or CASE for Kids, a division of Harris County Department of Education. The organizations listed on the following pages will provide diverse activities for youth after school, including fine arts, academic enrichment, college exploration and youth mentoring.

County Connections 2021 (CLOSED)
County Connections Youth Summer Initiative 2021, funded directly by Harris County, supports nonprofit organizations that address the need for youth services during the summer. Initiatives funded by the CASE for Kids County Connections program can provide comprehensive summer programs, short term projects and summer camps hosted in-person or virtually from a variety of locations including schools, community centers, apartment complexes and churches. In addition, organizations are eligible to apply for synchronous or asynchronous college and career readiness initiatives for older youth to be delivered virtually through CASE for Kids LevelUp online learning platform. Initiatives should be customized to meet community needs of individual Harris County Precincts. Services must include resources or reduce cost for summer initiatives for families during pandemic conditions.
