Danielle Bartz is the chief of staff for HCDE. She holds a bachelor's degree in government and Spanish and a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Texas. Prior to joining HCDE, Bartz served as the director of the City of Houston Boards and Commissions. She is a former Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, a TEDx speaker and she volunteers with the Texas Bluebonnet Girls State program, a government and citizenship camp for teenage girls.

Trina Silva brings a wealth of experience in community engagement, fundraising, volunteer management and event coordination to her role at the Harris County Department of Education.  
 
She most recently served as director of advancement for the University of Houston’s College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. In 2018, she joined the school as a development coordinator before being appointed director in 2022. 
 
The Alvin native began her community engagement and development career as an intern and then project coordinator for the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce in 2013. Silva joined Crisis Intervention of Houston in 2015 as a community engagement coordinator. She also served as a corporate sales manager for Anheuser-Busch InBev before returning to the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce as a member and program manager. 
 
Silva earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism-Public Relations from Sam Houston State University and her Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
