The new Coolwood Head Start campus will feature six classrooms, training rooms, administrative offices, conference rooms, and an updated kitchen. It will be able to accommodate 120 students in the east Harris County community, an area it has served under the HCDE umbrella since 1999. The campus was damaged during Hurricane Beryl, which delayed the opening until mid-fall 2024.
