Workforce Certification Programs
Must Have the Following Requirements:

- Be at least 18 years old (some exceptions may apply)
- Live in Harris or Liberty County
- Have a government-issued photo ID
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must not have a bachelor's degree or higher
- Commit to the 6 - 12 weeks of classes and attendance requirements
- Must take placement assessments and certification examinations

Construction
Overview
Students will receive instruction and learn skills in commercial and residential construction in the areas of safety, tools, material handling, construction math and design. Classes will include hands-on training and experience in a variety of craft trades. Credentialing is with National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Overview
Students will learn how to provide and assist in caring for patients in a healthcare setting. Classes will include materials, clinicals, and certification examination with American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the State of Texas.
Course Requirements:
- Must have or be willing to obtain current TB and hepatitis A&B vaccines.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check

Information Technology (IT) Helpdesk
Overview
Students will gain knowledge and skills necessary for an entry-level information technology (IT) professional to implement activities for supporting systems of information management in terms of computing operations, electronic data, and safety practices. Classes include materials and credentialing in CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Core 2.
Course Requirements:
- Must have high school diploma or HSE (formerly known as GED)
- Must be able to pass an assessment of basic computer knowledge

Electrocardiograph Technician (EKG)
Overview
Students will receive instruction and skills development in the performance of conducting tests on pulmonary or cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. Classes include materials, hands-on instruction, and certification examination with National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
Course Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check

Phlebotomy
Overview
Students will receive instruction and skills development in the performance of a variety of blood collection methods on adults, children and infants using proper techniques and standard precautions, with an emphasis on safety, quality assurance, patient identification and specimen handling. Classes include materials, hands-on instruction, and National Healthcare Association (NHA) certification examination.
