Barrett Station Head Start and Early Head Start
Project Summary
The campus of Barrett Station Head Start is expanding. Four pre-manufactured classrooms will house the campus’s new Early Head Start program. The new buildings will seat 32 infants and toddlers, with substantial completion expected by September.
Harris County Precinct 2 partnered with HCDE to expand the campus and create Early Head Start facilities. Precinct 2 generously donated $350,000 to HCDE to complete this project, allowing HCDE to fill a gap in the Crosby community. The funds supplement a grant that the Department received for the construction of this facility.
