|Jesus J. Amezcua is the assistant superintendent for Business Services at HCDE. Amezcua holds a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from Tarkio College, a master's degree in business administration, accountancy and logistics from Texas A&M International and a doctorate in education administration from Texas A&M University. Before joining HCDE in 2009, he worked as chief financial officer at Laredo Independent School District. Amezcua's achievements include earning multiple certificates of achievement for financial reporting and excellent budget document awards.
|Greg Lookabaugh is the executive director of Facilities Support Services at HCDE. Lookabaugh holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial technology from Lamar University. Formerly a senior manager of facilities planning with HCDE, Lookabaugh has more than 35 years of experience working with educational institutions. Lookabaugh’s achievements include serving as a life member of the Texas Association of School Business Officials and as a board member of the Custodial Management Association of Texas.|
|Kimberly McLeod is the assistant superintendent for Education and Enrichment. McLeod holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Houston. She received three degrees from Texas Southern University: a master's degree in guidance and counseling, a master’s degree in educational administration and a doctorate in counselor education. Before joining HCDE in 2015, McLeod was executive director of academic instruction and dean of Texas Southern University’s Northwest Campus.|
|Jonathan Parker is the assistant superintendent for Academic Support Services at HCDE. Parker earned his bachelor's in science degree from of Prairie View A&M University and a master's in educational administration from the University of North Texas. Before joining HCDE in 2015, he was principal of Dallas Independent School District's Benjamin Franklin Middle School. His achievements include “Principal of the Year,” an award given by the Northwest Council of Parent Teacher Associations.|
|Helen Spencer is the chief information officer at HCDE. Spencer earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M. She joined HCDE in 2016 after serving as chief of staff and chief communications officer at Houston ISD, where she implemented numerous successful communications plans. An active member in the National School Public Relations Association, she frequently presents on subjects ranging from multimedia story-telling to social media. As parent to four children who attend area public schools, she is vocal advocate for public education.|
|Natasha Truitt is the executive director of Human Resources at HCDE. Truitt holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration from Texas Southern University. Before joining HCDE in 1995, she worked at Charity Hospital. Truitt's achievements and accomplishments include SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - certified professional) and PHR (professional in human resources) certifications.|
|Arthur Vu is the director of Technology Services at HCDE. He earned his bachelor's degree in information systems technology from the University of Houston School of Technology. Before joining HCDE in 2002, he worked as a systems integrator for a privately held marketing and communications company. His professional affiliations include the Texas Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), Texas K-12 CTO Council and FBI InfraGard.|
|Jimmy Wynn is the special assistant to the superintendent at HCDE. Wynn holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University of Houston. Before returning to HCDE in 2015, he worked as an education policy consultant specializing in communication and community engagement. Wynn was previously employed by HCDE from 1997 through 2004 as executive director of public information.|
