Jeannette B. Truxillo, Dr.P.H., Director of Research and Evaluation
Dr. Truxillo has been actively engaged in program evaluation and behavioral science research for the past 20 years. She holds a doctorate in public health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health. Her studies have included evaluations for programs such as those targeting child mental health and Systems of Care, early childhood education and development, positive youth development, teen pregnancy prevention and family preservation. Her specialties are participatory evaluation and logic model development, survey research, continuous quality improvement and qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and has presented at various local and national conferences over the years.
Alicia Gladney, M.S., Research Coordinator
Alicia Gladney earned her master's degree in sociology from Texas A&M University. Her background is in grassroots community research. She has experience working on projects in relation to cancer prevention, adolescents and smoking, adolescents and mental health and doctor-patient communication. Her research interests include qualitative methodology, educational attainment and program evaluation.
Andres Garcia, M.A., Research Coordinator
Andres Garcia earned his master’s degree in sociology from the University of Houston. His background is in educational research, and he has worked on projects in urban school reform, teacher climate and principal leadership. His research interests include school reform, at-risk students and bilingual education.
Demori Driver, LMSW, MPH, Research Coordinator
Demori Driver earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and a master’s degree in public health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health. She has experience conducting evaluations of programs, targeting the prevention of child abuse/neglect, teen pregnancy and truancy, as well as working to enhance child mental health, child welfare education and parenting skills. She also has a background in early childhood education and is certified to teach grades 1-6. Her specialties are participatory evaluation, quantitative analysis and survey research.
Pamela Bonsu, MPH, Research Coordinator
Pamela Bonsu earned a master's degree in public health from Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. She has worked on federal and state grants focused on comprehensive children's mental health and the prevention of child maltreatment. Her research interests include children's health, culturally appropriate care and qualitative methodology.
Likita Durden-Holmes, M.S., Evaluation Associate
Likita Durden-Holmes earned her master's degree in psychology from Walden University and her bachelor's degree in social science from University of Houston-Downtown. Her background is in managing pharmacy data for a mental health agency. She has worked in a variety of settings, including education and mental health services.
