Mr. Carl Schwartz celebrates 23 years of service with the Board of Trustees of Harris County Department of Education. The longtime attorney currently serves as an Associate Judge in the city of Pasadena. Prior to entering the legal field, he taught high school government and economics.
On the HCDE Board, Mr. Schwartz chairs the Budget Committee.
Dedicated to public education, Mr. Schwartz served on the Pasadena Independent School District board for 19 years where he held several offices, including President and Vice President. He is also Past-President of the Gulf Coast School Board Association as well as the HCDE Board of Trustees. He is a former board member of the Texas Association of School Boards and is a current member of the South Pasadena Rotary Club.
Mr. Schwartz holds a B.S. from Sam Houston State University, an MS from University of Houston, and an LLB from South Texas Law School.
