Property Tax Base Summit Presentation
Get information about Harris County property values and the consequences to taxpayers at the 2012 Property Tax Base Summit on Feb. 21 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Harris County Department of Education, 6300 Irvington Blvd. in Houston, Texas. The summit is co-hosted by the Harris County Appraisal District and Harris County Department of Education.
The presentation led by Jim Robinson, Harris County Appraisal District chief appraiser and Guy Griscom, the district’s assistant chief appraiser gives a comprehensive analysis of major categories of property affecting all regions of Harris County. Attendees will receive a detailed overview of the economic trends occurring during 2011 that influence property values as of Jan. 1, 2012.
Following the presentation, the county appraisers field questions from members of the audience.
